As an East Nashville resident, I’m always looking for new, relaxed independent restaurants in the neighborhood & Tenn Sixteen Food & Drink Co. did not disappoint on the 3 occasions I have eaten there with friends. The service was attentive & very personable & the food presentation is excellent!
We have now gone to Tenn Sixteen for dinner twice, and both times we were very impressed with the experience, from the food to the service. The ambiance is fantastic on a nice cool evening when they open up the large windows to the street……I found what might be my favorite sandwich in Nashville: the meatloaf sandwich. My expectations weren’t that high, I like meatloaf, but it certainly isn’t my favorite dish. But this sandwich is like a gourmet burger on steroids.
“Ready to die after this Perfect and Delicious meal” Sometimes in life, you have an experience so good that you feel you’ve reached an apex. In this moment, you can die happy. At Tenn16, my wife and I felt overjoyed post-meal. The corn bread, chicken and waffles, and noodle something (Creole Pasta w/ chicken?) were an ideal mesh of sweet and savory items to create a life-altering meal. Add a wide list of fresh, local brews to boo and you’ve got yourself a perfect meal. The service was good, the environment low-key and fun. Def check it out if you’re in Nashville.
loved the chicken and waffles! deviled eggs were on point also. and the Bloody Mary’s were amazing! a Nashville must.
“Cool” and colorful, this “upbeat” East Ender creates “happy campers” with its Cajun-accented Southern fare, whether it’s the “awesome” meatloaf, catfish or “out-of-sight” chicken and waffles; boasting a sizable beer list and “tons of TVs”, the roomy “sports-bar” setting is ideal for “unwinding after work.”
